Drone-drones start helping firefighters in Russia

SIBUR announced the production of monitoring drones, with the help of which the fire brigade quickly responds to the danger of fire.

The release, configuration and maintenance of these drones is carried out by a drone service under the leadership of Mikhail Vorotnikov. According to him, these drones are designed for regular monitoring of forests and dead wood. Each device covers an area of 460 hectares, fixing and identifying hot spots.

Also, according to Mikhail, each drone can detect, on average, two points of potential fire. During the flight, everything is recorded on a video camera, and the materials are checked by specialists and firefighting teams are sent to the danger zone.
