During his speech in The Hague, Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked the conference participants to observe a minute of silence in memory of all Ukrainians who died as a result of Russian aggression – from 2014 to the present day, in particular, as a result of the shelling of Vinnitsa.

The head of state noted that tens of thousands of Ukrainians were killed, tortured and maimed. Millions have been deported to Russia or deprived of their homes due to hostilities.

He asked the participants of the conference in The Hague to join a moment of silence and honor all those killed by Russia on Ukrainian soil and in the Ukrainian sky.

The President drew attention to the Russian terrorist attack in Vinnitsa

On the morning of July 14, Russian cruise missiles hit Vinnitsa, namely 2 public buildings. In total, the invaders fired 8 rockets at Vinnitsa, 2 of which hit the city center. At the time of the impact, there were a lot of people there.

Residential buildings were destroyed, the medical center was on fire. Cars and trams were on fire. This is a daring act of Russian terror. People could not do this – they are cattle, Zelensky stressed.

Please note: the shelling of Vinnytsia took place just at the moment when the Accountability Conference was held in The Hague under the leadership of the Dutch Foreign Minister.
