Agreements on the supply of military equipment to Ukraine by European states have been signed & mdash; Kuleba

The Ukrainian authorities have signed agreements on the supply of military equipment with several European states.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

In an interview with the German newspaper Die Zeit, he noted that a very active exchange is underway with various partners who are ready to sell military equipment and weapons to Ukraine for better protection.

– We have bilateral cooperation agreements with some EU countries on trade in military equipment. But guns are like money, & # 8212; they prefer to be silent, & # 8212; said the diplomat.

At the same time, the Foreign Minister assured that the strengthening of the Ukrainian army will not aggravate the conflict with Russia, but the support of the West, in his words, is a strategy to contain the Kremlin's aggression.

< p> Kuleba identified three pillars of this strategy.

  • A clear political message sounded.
  • Military support
  • A series of sanctions or other restrictive measures.

– Moscow knows that the West is preparing sanctions. And you'll think twice before paying that price, ”he noted.
