Russia decided to resort to blackmail, saying that now it will accept payment for gas supplies only in rubles. However, the Kremlin's blackmail failed.

This opinion was expressed by political scientist Oleg Sahakyan on Channel 24. According to him, however, it is already noticeable that the plans of the aggressor country have collapsed.

Political scientist: everyone is “froze off” from blackmailing Russia

Political scientist recalled that it was in the form of an ultimatum that Russia stated that everyone should buy their gas for rubles. However, their blackmail failed.

Everyone, to put it mildly, “froze” and sent them along the path of the Russian warship, he stressed.

When this happened, Russia began to agree to the settlement in euros, but with conversion within the country. Like, as if countries were bought for rubles, Sahakyan explained.

This is already a fig leaf. It is already clear to everyone that in fact Russia had to turn on the back. Such precedents, I think, will become more and more. There are fewer people going to Russian blackmail.
