First waterproof flexible smartphones revealed

So, according to him, such will be the upcoming novelties of the South Korean giant Samsung, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. He noted that they will receive an IPX8 level of protection. This standard ensures that the devices will survive long periods of underwater exposure.
It is assumed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be equipped with a 6.5-inch external display and a 7.5-inch foldable screen. According to preliminary data, the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip will act as the “heart” of the device. The device is also credited with a three-module camera. As for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, it could get a 6.7-inch foldable screen, a 1.9-inch external screen and a Snapdragon 888 processor. The devices are scheduled to be announced on August 11th.
