Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that more than 80% of Norwegians support the transfer of the latest weapons to Ukraine. He spoke about this after a meeting with the Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament, Masud Garakhani.

During the meeting, Ruslan Stefanchuk and Masud Garakhani discussed important issues related to Ukraine. We are talking, in particular, about military benefits.

Extremely necessary weapons for Ukraine

Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed at a joint briefing that Ukraine anti-ship and anti-aircraft systems are needed. Our country also needs financial assistance and support in restoring the destruction caused by Russia.

The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada added that more than 80% of Norwegians support the transfer of new weapons to Ukraine. And as soon as the appropriate decision is made, our state will be much closer to victory.

He also stressed the importance of ending trade and economic relations with Russia. According to Stefanchuk, this should be a kind of stop-cock in the war unleashed by the aggressor country.

The head of the Storting stressed that heads of other states had applied to the Norwegian parliament twice, and Volodymyr Zelensky was the third one to do so. This is truly a historic event.
