Forgotten rubber fingertip found in overheating video card

The manufacturer of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition video card made an unfortunate mistake: one of the workers left a rubber fingertip in the card. It didn't end well.

This fingertip was used to protect the graphics card from the collector's fingerprints. The owner of one of the GeForce RTX 3090 found this product between two memory modules and a cooler. Because of this, the card's temperature reached 110 degrees Celsius.

Perhaps the user would never have found a fingertip if he had not decided to replace the thermal pads on his own. After the interference was removed, and the thermal pads were installed, the video card began to operate at an average temperature of 86 degrees Celsius.

It is worth noting that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition graphics cards often experience thermal pad replacement due to very high temperatures.
