Oleg Balanovsky is known for his works in the field of genogeography, population research, the history of migration and the formation of peoples, participation in genogeographic research for forensic science, popular science lectures and educational work. He has written over 80 scientific articles, including those published in the prestigious international journals Science and Nature.
