Georgian authorities allowed to check the state of health of Mikheil Saakashvili: details
Ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili will be checked by Polish doctors.
The Georgian authorities allowed to check the state of health of Mikheil Saakashvili. Polish doctors will be allowed to see him.
This was reported by Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak with reference to EU officials.
“The Polish medical team got access to Saakashvili,” Rikard Jozwiak stressed.
It is also noted that Saakashvili will not be delivered to Poland. The idea is that doctors will visit him in Georgia. However, the timing of sending medical workers is unknown.
It should be noted that the state of health of Mikheil Saakashvili deteriorated significantly after the protest hunger strike in 2021, when he was detained by Georgian law enforcement officers.
It should be reminded that ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, sentenced to imprisonment, who has recently been kept in a hospital in Tbilisi, is in a state close to death.
