< p _ngcontent-sc181="" class="news-annotation">Germany and France have decided that they will adapt their military support depending on how the situation on the battlefield develops.
The corresponding Franco-German declaration was approved following the results of the Security and Defense Council, held on January 22 in Paris.
The states will continue to closely coordinate assistance to provide Ukraine with the necessary capabilities and prepare its armed forces so that they can restore the country's territorial integrity, the document says.
What assistance will be provided by Germany and France
Note that Germany and France strongly condemn the aggressive war of Russia against Ukraine and will continue to provide unwavering support to Kyiv in all areas, especially in:
- political, military, economic, financial, humanitarian, social and cultural;
- will provide assistance needed during the winter.
Paris and Berlin are determined to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, will actively promote EU leadership in this area and act together with partners.
According to the agreement with partners in the EU and the G7, Germany and France will support Ukraine for as long as necessary, the declaration emphasizes.

In addition, they are determined to fight impunity for war and other serious crimes and will support efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
