Goes to ask for forgiveness – Preobrazhensky admitted the purpose of Lukashenka's visit to Moscow
On May 24, another meeting of dictators Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will take place in Moscow. The meeting will take place against the backdrop of rumors about possible health problems for Lukashenka, due to which he urgently left Russia after the May 9 parade.
Probably, Lukashenka uses the situation with health problems to justify himself to Putin. Ivan Preobrazhensky, a candidate of political sciences, an expert on Central and Eastern Europe, told Channel 24 about this.
Lukashenka does not control his country
According to him, it is likely that Lukashenka in Moscow should have held talks with Putin on the wider involvement of the Belarusian army in the war. But he avoided the conversation and is now going to apologize for the urgent departure.
“Lukashenko does not fully control his country, and especially the armed forces – senior positions in the Belarusian Armed Forces are held by graduates of Russian military bulk institutions. Ordinary military personnel definitely do not want to participate in the war and do not trust their Russian colleagues. It is obvious that undercover dictators continue there, who we will find out only after these regimes are overthrown,” Preobrazhensky stressed.

He also suggested that Lukashenka and Putin would discuss the deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus, which was announced in April. Lukashenka could have received instructions from Xi Jinping, who publicly advocates the non-deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of non-nuclear states. The Belarusian dictator is going to Putin to abandon his idea.
