Grossi and most of the IAEA members left the ZNPP: how many inspectors are left at the plant
The IAEA mission arrived at the ZNPP occupied by Russians on September 1st. In the evening, the Chairman of the Agency, Rafael Grossi, and most of the inspectors left the nuclear power plant.
This was reported in Energoatom. Earlier, Grossi reported that after a few hours at the Zaporizhzhya NPP he saw the “key things” that he wanted. >In Energoatom they said that at 18:00 the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi left the Zaporozhye NPP. Most of the delegation members left the station with him.
Currently, 5 representatives of the IAEA mission remained at the ZNPP, who are unloading the equipment they brought and will continue to work at the station. They are expected to be at the Zaporozhye NPP until September 3, the message says.
Grossi also commented on his departure on Twitter.
“I am completing my first visit to the Ukrainian Zaporozhye NPP The IAEA will remain here and maintain a permanent presence at the ZNPP,” the head of the IAEA noted.
The IAEA mission in Energodar: in short
