External services in one area reported that they had already answered more than 2,000 calls in just one day. Due to dangerous conditions in Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie voivodships, repair crews cannot access damaged power lines.

A sharp drop in temperatures is expected in Poland in the future, so authorities throughout the country are on high alert. Snow plows are working on the roads.
