High danger level: Poland urges its citizens to leave Russia

Poland, following Estonia and Bulgaria, appealed to its citizens living on the territory of the Russian Federation and urged them to leave the aggressor country.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advises its fellow citizens to refrain from traveling to Russia.

The Polish ministry noted that due to a significant reduction in the number of Polish diplomatic and consular workers in Russia, the possibilities of providing direct consular assistance to Polish citizens are very limited.

“In the event of a sharp deterioration in security situations, border closures or other unforeseen situations, evacuation may be significantly complicated or even impossible,” the Polish Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, the press services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Estonia urged to stop traveling to Russia< /strong> and, if possible, leave the country. The Ministry of Bulgaria emphasizes that this decision was made “in connection with the deteriorating situation.” Those in the Russian Federation are advised to avoid crowded places, take into account the circumstances and the development of the situation.
