Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei named iPhone 12 the best 5G smartphone. This is reported by Forbes.
In a conversation with reporters, Zhengfei noted that Apple's new smartphone was able to achieve high speed in fifth-generation networks. According to the entrepreneur, this makes the iPhone 12 “the best in the world.” At the same time, a top manager of the Chinese corporation stressed that Apple's flagship device works especially well in 5G networks of Huawei: “We support the progress made by the iPhone 12.”
Ren Zhengfei highlighted Huawei's network infrastructure in European countries: “Our networks are the best in global performance tests.” He also praised Apple's products, which are fully optimized for Huawei's networks. “This fact allows us to balance the opinions of our company in Europe,” concluded the founder of Huawei.
The entrepreneur also listed the megacities where Huawei's fifth-generation networks operate. “We helped build the best 5G infrastructure in many cities around the world – Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Zurich, Geneva, Amsterdam, Vienna, Barcelona, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong,” Zhengfei concluded.
The journalists recalled that it is not the first time that a Chinese entrepreneur has spoken respectfully about competitors from the United States. In 2019, Ren Zhengfei admitted that Apple is his “inspiration and teacher.”
At the end of January, the founder of Huawei said that under current conditions, the corporation will be able to operate from three to five years. Ren Zhengfei promised that for at least three years the company would be able to function normally, maintain its structure, and pay salaries to employees. Huawei has been under US sanctions since May 2019.
