Huawei unveils curved gaming monitor with built-in soundbar
Following the Smart Screen SE smart TV and FreeBuds 4 wireless headphones with advanced noise canceling, the Chinese company Huawei presented another interesting novelty – the curved gaming monitor MateView GT.
The device received a 34-inch matrix with an aspect ratio of 21: 9, a radius of curvature of 1500R and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The picture refresh rate reaches 165 Hz. It claims 90 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, 100 percent coverage of the sRGB gamut, a contrast ratio of 4000: 1 and a maximum brightness of 350 nits.
The main feature of the novelty is a soundbar built into the stand with support for surround sound and LED backlighting. True, the power of this audio system, as well as the date of the start of sales of the MateView GT have not yet been reported. Like the Smart Screen SE, the new monitor has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light harmful to the eyes. At home in China, the MateView GT is priced at 3,599 yuan (about $ 560).
