The Hungarian media launched a disinformation campaign to discredit the Ukrainian military – CPD

The message is widely circulated in the media of the Russian Federation and Hungary.

The Center for Counteracting Disinformation reported on fakes spreading by the Hungarian media. This disinformation is aimed solely at inciting interethnic hatred between Ukrainians and Hungarians in Transcarpathia.

This was stated at the Center for Combating Disinformation.

“Hundreds of Ukrainian military bodies are stored in refrigerators a few hundred meters from border with Hungary,” Metropol wrote.

The CPD also published a fake message in Pesti Srácok. It says that the Ukrainian government is “carrying out mass mobilization of ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia in order to make up for significant losses on the battlefield.”

The Center also warns against disinformation in the Magyar Nemzet publication.

There it is said that, they say, the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Mukachevo is almost completely staffed by ethnic Hungarians.

“After the “meat grinder” in Soledar, the death toll in 128 OGSBs is very high, the Hungarians say … [they] wonder why exactly 128 OGSBs are thrown into the places of bloody battles,” writes Magyar Nemzet.

The Center for Counteracting Disinformation emphasizes : none of these messages is true.

All messages distributed by the Hungarian media and widely circulated in Russia are aimed solely at inciting ethnic hatred between Ukrainians and Hungarians in Transcarpathia.< /p>

Let's add that Russians themselves spread fakes. This is done to exacerbate panic among Ukrainians.

Earlier, Russian propaganda lied about the alleged “destruction” of 13 HIMARS MLRS and their analogues in two days.

Ukrainian intelligence also warned that the Russian Federation would soon try to influence Ukrainian journalists to conduct IPSO to undermine confidence in Ukraine on the part of Western partners.
