A bus and a minibus collided in a large-scale road accident in Egypt. 17 passengers were killed, 17 more were seriously injured.

The incident took place in the Sinai Peninsula. A large passenger bus was heading to the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh from the Egyptian capital Cairo.

In the provincial capital of South Sinai El Tor, the driver collided with a minibus. According to preliminary information, an accident in Egypt could have provoked a thick fog.

Whether Ukrainian citizens were injured in this accident is still unknown.

Recall that in early September in Egypt there was an accident involving a passenger bus, which was also heading from Cairo to the resort Sharm el-Sheikh.

Then, as a result of the accident, 12 people died, another 34 passengers were injured of varying degrees severity: doctors diagnosed concussions, fractures, bruises and abrasions.

More than three dozen ambulances worked at the scene.
