I will not rest until Ukraine becomes a full member of the EU – Duda on supporting Poland

President Andrzej Duda assured people's deputies that Poland will do everything possible for Ukraine to become a member of the European Union. He stressed that there are friendly and good-neighborly relations between Ukraine and Poland.
He stated this during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada. His speech was powerful and supportive of Ukrainians, Channel 24 reports.
Duda claims that Poland will do everything possible to help Ukraine become a member of the EU. The Ukrainian deputies responded with applause to these words.
I personally will not rest until Ukraine becomes a member of the EU in full of this word… This is my big dream, so that we can build a common future together, this is very important not only for us, but also for future generations. – said the President of Poland.
Andrzej Duda assured that Poland would actively support Ukraine on the path to membership in the European Union. “First, on the status of a candidate for a full EU member. Because Ukraine's place is in a united Europe,” he added.
The Polish President also recalled that Poland was the first country to recognize the independence of Ukraine in 1991. And in 1992, the presidents of these countries signed an agreement on good neighborliness.
“But today our relations are being re-formed. In my opinion, it's time for a new Polish-Ukrainian treatise on a good neighborhood. The Polish-Ukrainian border should unite, not divide. This should be our big goal,” Duda said.
During his speech in the Verkhovna Rada, Andrzej Duda also said that Poland provided Ukraine with $2 billion worth of weapons. We are talking about tanks, armored personnel carriers, air defense and military ammunition.
