IAEA Director General Grossi arrived in Ukraine for "important meetings" on the future of ZNPP

On October 5, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi arrived in Kyiv. Last time he was in Ukraine at the beginning of September.

Grossi's arrival was announced after the kidnapping of the Director General of ZNPP. Fortunately, he has already been released from Russian captivity.

On October 5, the head of the IAEA said that he had arrived in Kyiv for important meeting.

The need to create a nuclear security zone around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is now more urgent than ever, Grossi emphasized.

Grossi announced his visit on October 2 after he received a response from infidels that the general director of ZNPP was being held in a temporary detention facility.

“Such a detention of any member of the plant's personnel would in itself be a source of serious concern, in particular because of its psychological impact and pressure on the rest of the population. The IAEA Director General noted.

After Kyiv, Grossi also plans to leave for Moscow.
