The battle that will continue in Donbas will affect the fate of southern Ukraine. If we endure and win in the Donetsk direction, then we can talk about the liberation of the southern region.

This was announced on Channel 24 by military expert Oleg Zhdanov. According to him, if Ukraine survives and completely levels the offensive potential of Russia, then it will be possible to prepare for a further counteroffensive.

Scenario of the 3rd stage of the war

As the military expert explained, after the victory in the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces will have to take a short operational pause to regroup troops and begin the 3rd stage of the war. That is, to prepare and conduct a counter-offensive operation.

“If successful in the Donbass, we will be able to launch a counter-offensive in the south and disrupt the preparations for the referendum that the infidels announced there for May 1,” Zhdanov said.
