The defense forces continue to repel the attacks of the invaders near Bakhmut. The invaders do not leave attempts to capture the fortress city.

Russia attacked Kramatorsk and Zatoka

During the day, the enemy launched 40 air strikes, 12 missile strikes and fired more than 100 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems.

One of the missile attacks was carried out on the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, and the other on Zatoka in the Odessa region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs that the main goal of the enemy over the past day was still attempts to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

To this end, he focused his efforts on conducting offensive operations on:

• Avdievsky,
• Maryinsky,
• Mining direction.

Thanks to professional and well-coordinated actions, our defenders repulsed more than 90 enemy attacks in the indicated directions.

In what directions are the Russians advancing?

In the Kupyansk and Limansk directions, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine to prevent our units from tipping over to other directions.

Also, during the previous day , the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops . The invaders carried out artillery shelling of 4 settlements along the line of military clashes in the Kharkiv region (Dvuhletnaya, Gryanikovka, Masyutovka and Krakhmalnoe); 7 settlements of the Lugansk region: Novoselovskoe, Makeevka, Nevskoe, Dibrova, Belogorovka, Zolotarovka and Krasnopopovka.

Also, Spirnoye and Fedorovka in the Donetsk region fell under fire influence.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not leave attempts to capture the city of Bakhmut, where constant positional battles continue. At the same time, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Yagodnoye, Khromovo and Orekhovo-Vasilovka.

Enemy shelling was subjected to 15 settlements of the Donetsk region near the line of collision. Among them are Nikiforovka, Vasyukovka, Minkovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye and Konstantinovka.

On the Avdeevka, Maryinsky and Mining directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Kamenka, Nevelskoye, Novokalinovo, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Novomikhailovka, Pobeda and Vodiane of the Donetsk region.

Enemy shelling was carried out in areas of 16 settlements of the Donetsk region: Berdichi, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Netaylovo, Krasnogorovka, Nevelskoye, Maryinka, Georgievka, Vuhledar, Paraskoveevka, Ocheretino, Orlovka, Pobeda, Prechistovka and Neskuchnoye.

Russians on the defensive in the South

On the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions , the enemy carried out defensive actions . 17 settlements of the Zaporozhye region, near which hostilities are being conducted, were subjected to shelling.

In particular, Olgovskoye, Gulyaipole, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka and Stepnogorsk. The fiery influence was also experienced by Prigorodnoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region; Ochakov – Nikolaev, as well as 20 settlements of the Kherson region.

Among them are Zolotaya Balka, Mikhailovka, Kachkarovka, Veseloe, Ivanovka, Nikolskoe, Antonovka, Zelenovka, Dneprovskoe and Kherson.

On the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The enemy maintains a military presence near the state border of Ukraine, but the formation of offensive groups has not been identified.

At the same time, the enemy continued to equip the terrain in the border regions of the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

Over the past day, the enemy shelled the areas of Arkhipovka, Mikhalkina Sloboda, Kolos and Elinoe in the Chernihiv region; 9 settlements of the Sumy region: Ukrainian, Znob-Novgorod, Seredina-Buda, Romashkovo, Bachevsk, Starikove, Volfino, Grabovskoe and Porozok, as well as 15 settlements of the Kharkiv region. Among them are Guryev Kazachok, Kazachya Lopan, Granov, Glubokoe, Krasnoe and Bologovka.

The defense forces worked on the occupiers

Aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 9 strikes per day on the concentration areas of the occupiers, 3 strikes on the deployment sites of the enemy air defense systems and 3 strikes on other important objects of the occupiers.

Missile and artillery units hit 3 enemy personnel concentration areas, 3 command posts of Russian army units and a deployed enemy air defense position.
