Russian assassins are terrorizing people in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporozhye region. They loot and try to convince the inhabitants that they are successfully seizing Ukraine.
This was said by the speaker of the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration Ivan Arefiev on the air of the Rada TV channel, Channel 24 reports. He noted that the Russians are spreading propaganda messages and lies about the state of affairs in the city and Ukraine as a whole
“There were information blockades in temporarily occupied Berdyansk due to the complete absence of mobile communications and partly the Internet. The Russians also seized the local radio and renamed it Free Berdyansk,” the speaker said.
Invaders are looting
According to Arefiev, Russians continue to loot in the Melitopol region. In particular, it became known that the occupiers robbed the road repair points of the Zaporozhye highway and the asphalt-concrete plant in the village of Kamenka.
“The invaders also looted the Avtomagistral-South base in the city of Melitopol, Tokmak and the village of Novopoltavka. The production of the Altcom road construction base was also looted,” the speaker said.
There are many collaborators
Arefiev said that large supermarket chains do not operate in Berdyansk, industrial enterprises and shops are closed, the owners of which do not agree to be on the terms of the occupation authorities.
There are a lot of collaborators. We fix everything, open a lot of criminal proceedings, and this list is replenished, – said Arefiev.

Ukrainians are moving into apartments
Earlier, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said that the occupiers continue to mock the townspeople. They completely blocked the city before May 9th. Therefore, people cannot leave.
In addition, the Russians do not allow vehicles to pass on the line of demarcation. According to Fedorov, there is already a line of more than 500 cars. The mayor noted that in Melitopol itself, the Resists set up checkpoints and check the transport.
“In the apartments of Ukrainians who managed to leave, they settle their soldiers and it is not clear who at all. They also arrange hunger, because they take grain from elevators and farms. Rashists behave completely like in Soviet times,” the mayor said.
