Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has criticized the Ukrainian people for electing Volodymyr Zelensky as president of Ukraine. This is reported by the portal g1.
“The comedian was elected president of Ukraine, the people entrusted the comedian to determine the fate of the nation. I will wait for the speech at the UN to express my opinion,” Bolsonaro said.
He also added that Brazil will not vote for a UN resolution proposing sanctions against Russia.
Earlier, Zelensky said that he had agreed with world leaders on “significant new assistance.” According to him, on February 25, he talked with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, as well as the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, American leader Joe Biden.
