In Buryatia, a senior ensign of the Russian Armed Forces was stealing army dry rations from soldiers. He is accused under Part 3 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code (misappropriation or embezzlement due to official position).

” Taking advantage of his official position, Kryuchkov appropriated 23 sets of individual food rations, which were supposed to be issued to servicemen instead of hot meals,” the message says.
According to Part 3 of Art. 160 the warrant officer was threatened with a fine of 100 thousand rubles, forced labor or up to six years in prison.
The court ruled to pay a fine of 40 thousand rubles.
