In Chernihiv, a Russian pilot is tried who ejected from a plane and killed a civilian

On March 16, the court of Chernigov heard the case of Russian pilot Alexander Krasnoyartsev. He ejected from the plane and killed a civilian.

The case was heard in the Novozavodsk District Court of Chernihiv. Alexander Krasnoyartsev is accused of violating the law because of the murder of a civilian man with a service pistol.

The accused was not in the hall, since he is no longer in Ukraine. The prosecutor asked the court to postpone the consideration of the case in order to properly notify the accused of the date and time of the next hearing. This is provided by law, so the court agreed to adjourn the hearing until April 17.

How the plane was shot down

  • A Russian plane was shot down in the sky over Chernihiv on March 5, 2022. The Su-34 fighter carried 6 FAB-500 unguided bombs on board.
  • The plane crashed on the house of a local resident Yulia Grebneva in the Masana microdistrict. The woman and her three children escaped.
  • Both Russian pilots ejected. The navigator of Krasnoyartsev – Major Krivolapov died. Alexander Krasnoyartsev landed on the roof and ran to hide in the shed.
  • Okupat himself admitted that he killed a civilian. In one of the interviews, he said that a man ran after him. Then the kafir used a weapon and fired several times.

As of April 23, 2022, Krasnoyartsev was no longer in Ukraine. He was then declared suspicious, but before that the occupier was exchanged for five Ukrainian military pilots.
