A resident of Kamenetz-Podolsky had a conflict with a teenager. To release emotions, the man thought of putting out a cigarette about the age of a minor.

In Kamenets, a 57-year-old local resident was drinking beer with a friend. Nearby was a group of teenagers.

Angry over loud talking

The loud conversations of teenagers angered the man. He went up to one of them and put a cigarette butt to the guy's eyelid. The man held the cigarette until the guy pushed his offender away.

Although the man himself in court convinced that he allegedly got a cigarette in the eyes of a teenager by accident. However, the victim was diagnosed with two burn wounds to the eyelids, which are minor bodily injuries.

The man was punished

The city district court found the attacker guilty of hooliganism. He will stay in custody for 5 months. Considering the verdict too harsh, the Kamenchanin together with his lawyer appealed against it on appeal – they asked to appoint community service instead of arrest. However, the verdict was upheld.

Although the prosecutor noted that nothing happened on the terrace that day that could provoke the man to hooligan actions. The version of the alleged insult was not confirmed by either the victim, or witnesses, or video from the store's surveillance cameras.
