Law enforcers exposed in Kiev a criminal group that produced certificates for a non-existent organization – the OSCE International Diplomatic Mission.

The attackers registered several public organizations with similar names to the OSCE official representation in Ukraine, and also created a website.

For € 1.5 thousand they ranked Ukrainian citizens and non-residents as members of the so-called OSCE diplomatic mission, but in fact, as their public organizations. Further, these people were issued certificates similar to the original.

These pieces of paper allegedly allowed them to cross the border along the green corridor without quarantine restrictions, receive diplomatic passports, social assistance a year after joining the organization, receive free medical treatment abroad and other privileges.

The defendants in the case were searched and seized dozens of fake IDs with the OSCE logo, seals and letterheads of the fake organization, as well as IDs of police officers and other representatives of the authorities.

The organizer of the fraudulent scheme was informed of suspicion under Art. 190 UCU – fraud. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.

Also, it is possible that a case will be opened under one more article – Art. 358 UKU (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and letterheads, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps).
