How the Ukrainians unfurled the flag in the capital
According to Tkachenko, in Kyiv, as part of the art action “Ukraine united” Ukrainians symbolically connected the left and right banks of the Dnieper with the help of a flag 430 meters long.
Two coasts. One flag. United and indivisible Ukraine, – said the minister.
According to Public, migrants from Kherson, Mariupol, Donetsk, Melitopol and Lugansk joined the action.
“Today's action is a reference, first of all, to those people who are under occupation today. We know how hard it is there. We keep in touch with them. But people are desperate. There is an information vacuum. Referendums are being prepared there. And today we want to make such a gesture “In order to connect the yellow-blue left and right banks of the Dnieper with our flag,” said the organizer of the action Oleksandr Kniga.
