Four heroes of the legendary unit died in the war against the Russian invaders:
- Ivan “Evan” Datsko
- Bogdan “Shell” Suprun
- Felix “Lis” Kurtanich
- Sergei “Topaz” Popaz
Hundreds of brothers, friends, as well as caring people of Kiev came to say goodbye to the fallen soldiers in the Church of St. Nicholas of the UGCC on Askold's grave.
