The top leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular Minister Denis Monastyrsky, died in a plane crash in Brovary. In Kyiv, on January 21, they say goodbye to the dead.
The farewell ceremony began at 11.00. It takes place in a Ukrainian house.
The funeral column moved on
An hour before the ceremony, colleagues, relatives and friends of the victims gathered near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv . The Kyiv City State Administration informed about the blocking of Khreshchatyk, so they changed the movement of bus routes No. 62 and No. 114.
The funeral column went to the Ukrainian House, where the ceremony will take place.

Plane crash in Brovary: what is known
- On January 18, a helicopter carrying 10 people crashed in Brovary near Kyiv. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs flew on a business trip to one of the frontline regions.
- The helicopter crashed near a kindergarten. 14 people died, including one child born in 2017.
- Three of the dead are members of the crew, seven are the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Minister Denis Monastyrsky, First Deputy Minister Yevgeny Yenin and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuri Lubkovich.
- The case is being investigated by the SBU. Various versions are being considered, including a malfunction of the helicopter, as well as its deliberate destruction.
