On June 21, in Lviv, they said goodbye to the scout Artem Demid, who died heroically in the war for the freedom of Ukraine.
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, who was present at the ceremony, announced the farewell to the Hero. He noted that the memory of Artem will be eternal.

A scholarship fund named after the fallen soldier was founded at the UCU
The mayor of Lvov also said that the Ukrainian Catholic University is creating a fund that will pay for the education of history students.
Scholarships at the university will be provided to scouts entering UCU's bachelor's and master's programs.

A hero died in Donbass
The death of the warrior became known on June 18. The hero was covered with mortar fire during the fighting in the Donetsk region.
His war began back in 2014, when the guy became one of the volunteer battalions of Ukraine. At the time of his death, Artem was only 27 years old.
Plast Lvov told that Artem became a scout at the age of 7 and his call sign was “Chicken”. All his life he was devoted to the ideals professed by the members of this organization.
The Ukrainian Catholic University expressed condolences and sorrow for the loss. “This pain cannot be measured… A great loss for the family, our community, all of Ukraine,” the UCU stressed.
