According to police, the driver wanted to transport seven Iraqis.

In Podlasie in eastern Poland, near the border with In Belarus, the police detained a citizen of Ukraine who was transporting people who illegally crossed the border.

The arrest took place in Olkhovichi. The car, driven by a Ukrainian citizen, was stopped for the purpose of checking.

According to police, the driver wanted to transport seven Iraqis, Polish Radio reports.

The driver was arrested and his vehicle was evacuated to a police parking lot.

On December 24, another Ukrainian citizen was detained in Podlaskie Voivodeship, who was transporting an illegal migrant from Iraq in his car.

Note that in Poland this more than 90 Ukrainians were accused of helping illegal migrants.

Ukraine on November 23 launched a special operation “Polesie” on the border with Belarus in order to prevent the migration crisis.

Let us remind you that Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky said that in the event of a breakthrough of migrants all available forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be at the border within 30 minutes.
