In Russia, a new maximum of COVID deaths was recorded
At the same time, Russia has been observing a gradual decrease in the incidence of COVID-19 for a week.
In the Russian Federation, from complications of COVID- 19 more 1247 patients died, which is the highest daily rate of coronavirus-related deaths in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

It is noted that most deaths were registered in Moscow (96), St. Petersburg (84) and Krasnodar Territory (58).
At the same time, a gradual decrease in the incidence of COVID-19 has been observed in Russia for a week. So, on Wednesday, the daily increase in new infections amounted to 36,626 cases.
In Moscow, in particular, 2,966 new patients were found per day, in St. Petersburg – 2,793, and in the Samara region – 1,785. “This region is ahead of the Moscow region, where 1,691 cases were detected per day,” the message says.
In total, 9,182,538 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the Russian Federation since the beginning of the pandemic, 259,084 of which were fatal. Another 7,882,836 patients have already been discharged from hospitals.
As a result of the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Moscow, new restrictions have been introduced , which will be in effect from October 25, 2021 to October 25 February 2022.
