In Russia, an inexpensive Samsung flagship came out on a Snapdragon processor instead of Exynos

Last fall, Samsung presented a cheaper flagship smartphone Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) for the Russian market. It came out with a proprietary Exynos 990 processor. Now a version of this device with a Snapdragon 865 processor has appeared in Russian stores.

The new version of the Galaxy S20 FE still doesn't work on 5G networks. She received the model number G780G. In “Svyaznoy” the smartphone costs 49,990 rubles for the version with 128 GB of memory and 55,990 rubles for the version with 256 GB of memory.

We will remind, recently the media reported that Samsung has decided to discontinue production of the Galaxy S20 FE with the Exynos 990 processor. This smartphone was criticized by both bloggers and ordinary users for poor battery life and low performance.
