In Russia, the military “accidentally” fired from an RPG – the wreckage fell in a residential area
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not comment on the cause of the incident.
In Russia, there was another incident with the military. This time, a soldier “accidentally” fired from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher (RPG) – shell fragments fell in the Gukovo residential area in the Rostov region.
This was told by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
So, on March 4, social networks and the media in the Rostov region reported that residents of Gukov heard the sound of an explosion, and then published a photo of an unknown shell that fell in a residential area.
It turned out that the mistake of one of the Russian military was the cause.
“The soldier, whose identity we were unable to find out, while at the temporary deployment point, fired an uncontrolled shot from an RPG-22, which caused the aforementioned explosion. According to preliminary data, no one was injured,” ASTRA said in a statement.
The head of Gukovy, Yevgeny Grinenko, called the fallen objects “fragments of unknown origin” and asked residents “not to believe the rumors and not to panic.”
Recall that on March 6 in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation there was a shooting between conscripts . One of them died, another soldier was injured.
And in Novosibirsk , unidentified people set fire to a collection point for mobilized Russians – they broke a window in the room and threw burning rags.
