In Russia, they came up with a device for cleaning air from coronavirus

Researchers from the Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences have come up with a new way to fight viruses and bacteria. The invention also works in relation to SARS-CoV-2, writes the portal aif.ru.

The device works on the basis of thermal inactivation. In the device, the air is first heated to a certain temperature and then cooled to a state where it can be breathed. Energy can be obtained from the mains or from batteries. The device is easy to manufacture and safe to operate.

The peculiarity of the device is that the heat spent on heating is returned. The device is highly energy efficient. Previously, heat treatment of air was not considered as a method of air disinfection.

The inventors have already filed a patent for the invention.
