A new public space has appeared in the Moskovsky district of St. Petersburg. In the courtyard on Pulkovskoe highway, 95, the improvement of the inner-quarter square has been completed.
According to the press service of Smolny, the concept of the facility was developed taking into account the wishes of local residents.
The park is equipped with a game complex, a labyrinth, a drawing board and a recreation area. The sports ground is represented by exercise equipment and a ping-pong table.
The work was carried out by the Pulkovskiy Meridian MO within the framework of the project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”.
This year, according to the program, intra-block squares have already opened at 15 Kosmonavtov Avenue and 53 Varshavskaya Street.In October, two more public spaces are planned to be introduced in the Moskovsky District: on the square in front of the Russian National Library and in the square at 133 Moskovsky Avenue.
In total, this year, within the framework of the project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”, the authorities of St. Petersburg are planning to improve 42 objects, for this purpose 2.4 billion rubles have been allocated.
