In the Donetsk region, two women were exposed who “leaked” the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bakhmut to the Russian occupiers. Now they face a serious sentence.

The enemy agents turned out to be two residents of Kramatorsk. One of them is a nurse in the military unit of the terrorist defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As it became known, the women collected intelligence about the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction.

In the “zone of special attention” of the enemy were the routes of the likely movement of heavy armored vehicles of Ukrainian troops in the direction of the eastern front. The occupiers needed intelligence information to plan military operations in the Bakhmut area, the law enforcement officers noted.

Women also recorded the results of enemy shelling to correct repeated attacks. As a result, the SBU detained two girlfriends.

As it turned out, the women were passing information to a Russian intelligence officer. They were recruited through a representative of the intelligence unit of the 1st Army Corps of the southern military district, which includes the son of one of the traitors.

“In the event of the capture of the region, the aggressor 'guaranteed' his henchmen 'leading positions' in the local occupation administration,” the SBU said.

What threatens traitors

The SBU informed the detainees about the suspicion under the article on high treason committed under martial law, as well as about the dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The court chose a preventive measure for women – detention.
