In Chuguev, Kharkiv region, a drunk 40-year-old man was detained, who on January 13 threatened to blow up the building of the local police and the hospital.
The man reported a possible explosion in the building of the Chuguev police department at 18.53.
At 19.17 he called the police and threatened that he would throw a grenade into the traumatology room of the Chuguev Central District Hospital.
During the inspection of the premises of the police department, the trauma department of the hospital and the territories adjacent to them, the specialists did not find any explosives.
Subsequently, the police identified the offender and detained him. There were no explosive objects in his house either.
For a knowingly false report about a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property, a man faces up to eight years in prison.

The attacker has already been informed of suspicion. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
The pre-trial investigation continues, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

At first, the secret services were looking for explosives in all the shopping centers in Kiev, on January 10 – in 11 shopping centers in Kharkov, and on January 11 – in all the capital's schools.
On January 12, they reported about the mining of all schools in Cherkasy, as well as educational institutions in the Dnieper and Lvov. In Odessa, they searched for explosives in shopping centers, and in Kiev – at the Teatralnaya and Vokzalnaya metro stations, as well as at Zhuliany and Boryspil airports.
On January 13, in Cherkassy, several schools and all shopping malls were again reported to have been mined.
