Russian invaders are trying to increase pressure in the South. However, our defenders consistently strike at the enemy.

Ukrainian rocket and artillery units continue their combat work on carefully verified targets and enemy bases.

Enemy losses in the South

Ukrainian defenders destroyed the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, a mobile reconnaissance and control center, a T-62 tank, and also reduced the enemy’s artillery power by 2 gun mounts.

It should be noted that in general, as of March 19, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already eliminated 164,910 Russian invaders and tens of thousands of enemy equipment.

OK Yug told about the situation in the region

• The operational situation in the zone of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces remains difficult, but manageable. The enemy is trying to increase the pressure with fiery defeats as part of a counter-battery fight and with the use of aircraft.
• In particular, on the evening of March 18, a pair of enemy Su-35 fighters attacked with two X-59 missiles in the Berislavsky district of the Kherson region. One rocket was destroyed in the air, the other hit agricultural land. Fortunately, there were no casualties or damage.
• Also during the day shelling continued, but their number slightly decreased. In OK “South” noted that earlier more than 90 were recorded, but now – more than 60.
• In addition, the occupiers intensified shelling from mortars and cannon artillery in the water area of the Dnieper-Bug estuary, in the direction of Ochakovo and the Kutsurub community. There is no damage to infrastructure or human losses.
