In Turkey, weapons from the nuclear triad of Russia were found from the Armenian military

The Turkish agency Anadolu found Yars mobile ground-based missile systems (PGRK) from the military of Armenia and the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). The agency published the corresponding infographic on its Telegram channel on Thursday, October 22.

Anadolu has prepared an infographic showing the losses of equipment allegedly suffered by the armies of Armenia and NKR as a result of the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh since September 27. At the same time, two Yars were mistakenly included in the list of lost weapons, which in fact are in service exclusively with the Russian army and are part of the country's so-called nuclear triad.

In addition, Turkish journalists used the recognizable silhouette of the Turkish UAV Bayraktar TB2 as an illustration accompanying the number of drones lost by Armenia and NKR.

The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) escalated sharply on September 27. Armenia and Azerbaijan made a decision on a ceasefire for humanitarian reasons from October 18 00:00 local time. At the same time, the sides accused each other of shelling positions on the line of demarcation and non-observance of the ceasefire.

The RS-24 Yars strategic missile system was developed in the 2000s by the Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering (MTI) as part of the development of the RT-2PM2 Topol-M. The PGRK has been in service with the Strategic Missile Forces of Russia since 2009.
