In the Kyiv region, for the first time, exercises were held for special fighters who are prohibited from using weapons. These fighters are military chaplains or chaplains.

This course is the first in Ukraine, where they train fighters who will never hold a weapon in their hands. The church and the law forbid the use of weapons, but they must know how to survive on the battlefield.

Chaplains at the front support the morale of the soldiers

The course introduces them to different types of weapons, general army concepts and tactical medicine. The main goal of chaplains at the front is to maintain the morale of the soldiers.

Some of the military chaplains involved in these exercises have already been at war since 2014. Since last May, a military chaplain can become a service officer by signing a contract and becoming part of the military service. He has all the social guarantees that are provided to other servicemen.

In the first edition of the course, 30 chaplains were trained, who are already serving in their units and divisions. In the near future, such military chaplains should be in all combat units of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and border guards.

Mobilization continues in Ukraine

• In Ukraine, mobilization is underway, which includes all Ukrainians liable for military service, regardless of religion. The pace of mobilization has increased significantly compared to six months ago.
