This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.
In Ukraine, work will resume cameras for recording traffic violations
Recording traffic violations is one of the components of ensuring the safety of citizens, as well as one of the indicators of the general civility of the state. Therefore, cameras in Ukraine will work again. But not everywhere.
The cameras will not work in the temporarily occupied territories. Now they are being tested and from Monday they will work even in those settlements that were previously occupied by the Russian army,” the Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized.
He also noted that the units of the National Police that were involved in repelling Russia’s armed aggression , in those regions where it is possible, they are already returning to performing direct police functions, such as patrolling.
Where cameras will work from May 16
According to Oleksiy Beloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department of Ukraine, since the beginning of the war, automatic recording cameras have been turned off mainly for strategic purposes.

The military administration of Kyiv decided to reduce the number of checkpoints in the region by half. Everything for the capacity of the roads of the Kyiv region.
According to Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, all the checkpoints were moved to the side of the road so that they would not interfere with the movement of vehicles. He noted that at any moment the military will be able to restore the construction of checkpoints and work on them.
