Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced that it is planned to create a National Council for the Reconstruction of the Country in Ukraine.

The draft decree will be submitted to Volodymyr Zelensky for consideration.

According to Shmyhal, the National Council for the Reconstruction of the Country will develop a plan for the post-war renewal and development of Ukraine.

Modernization and restart of the economy

The plan will include not only concrete steps to restore, develop infrastructure and housing, but also structural modernization and restarting the economy based on European standards, etc. he said, the Prime Minister added.

According to him, Ukrainian social policy should meet the best world standards, and the Ukrainian economy should be modern and competitive.

Ukrainians should return home from abroad, because here are the best conditions for life,” Shmyhal said, talking about the main goals of Ukraine after the end of the war.
