India continues to buy weapons from Russia, despite the fact that its real technical capabilities on the battlefield are very far from beautiful words. This can mean only one thing – the local politicians did not draw conclusions from the war in Ukraine.

This was announced on Channel 24 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2007-2009 Volodymyr Ohryzko. He stressed that if India wants to continue to think about its security, then Russian scrap metal must be abandoned.

However, India depends on Russia, but at the same time it tries to balance between the West, the speaker noted.

“She cannot go against the collective West. If she buys oil not for $60, but for $65, she will receive sanctions. And those sanctions will further exacerbate the problems that exist in India,” Ohryzko said.

Many millions of Indians live below the poverty line, said the ex-foreign minister. And this is the problem of the local government itself and its inaction, and not of the West.
