Russian invaders launched another terrorist attack on the Kherson region on the morning of January 2. The invaders fired at one of the markets.

The Russian military attacked the center of Berislav. At least 5 people were injured. This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military District.

Probably fired from a tank from Kakhovka

Occupiers opened fire on the city market in the center of Berislav. Probably, the invaders fired at him from a tank from the side of the temporarily occupied Kakhovka. Unfortunately, five people were injured.

Three people are in serious condition. They will be evacuated to Kherson, where doctors will provide the victims with the necessary medical care, – Yaroslav Yanushevich emphasized.

On January 1, the invaders shelled the Kherson region 71 times

• In the first day of 2023, the invaders shelled the territory region 71 times. According to Yanushevich, the Russians attacked peaceful settlements with artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks.
• In particular, on January 1, Kherson was attacked 30 times. Enemy shells hit power lines, the regional children's hospital, swimming pool premises, private and apartment buildings.
• One person died as a result of shelling. Another 4 residents of the Kherson region received injuries of varying severity.
