Inventor from Mordovia was sent to serve military science

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the call to the ranks of the ERA Military Innovative Technopolis, a developer of a multi-beam antenna for radar systems, which allows for uninterrupted communications.

– Graduated from the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogareva Vadim Akhapkin during his studies developed and patented several different antennas. One of them came in handy. As indicated in the patent in the electronic scientific archive of the university, the antenna allows an increase in the capacity of radio networks with improved spectral efficiency and a higher quality of user service, the Russian Defense Ministry explained.

In total, 9 recruits from Mordovia went to serve in the scientific companies of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the military department, the inventor, after conscript service, decided to stay in the Armed Forces in order to continue to engage in scientific research in the interests of increasing the country's defense capability.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the commissariats of the Central Military District will send about 140 university graduates from the regions of the Volga region, the Urals and Siberia to research companies. Half of them will go to serve in the ERA Military Innovative Technopolis.
