The “Republican Biathlon Tournament” in Izhevsk was held without shooting due to the fact that cartridges were not purchased.

It turned out that the tournament was planned, but they did not have time to purchase cartridges, and in order not to endure the competition, they decided to hold it without a rifle unit. The participants went for a run… and dispersed.

As the head of the Udmurt Biathlon Federation, Ivan Cherezov, said, “There is nothing wrong with that, any competition should be perceived as a holiday.”

Recall that earlier in the Russian city of Novosibirsk, competitions in fast digging of graves were held. Participants competed for a cash prize. According to the conditions of the competition, the participants had to dig a grave 2 meters long and 80 cm wide at speed.
