Kazakhstan will strengthen restrictive measures at the state border due to coronavirus
The Kazakh authorities will strengthen restrictive measures for crossing the state border in connection with the spread of the coronavirus. It is reported by Tengrinews with reference to the press service of the government of the republic.
The restrictions affected foreigners with a residence permit on the territory of Kazakhstan and their family members, as well as foreigners who are members of the families of Kazakhstanis. These categories of persons can cross the state border of the republic no more than once every 90 days. Previously, this could be done no more than once every 30 days.
In addition, the visa-free regime for citizens of 57 countries has been suspended until May 1, 2021.
For all the time, 112,860 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Kazakhstan, 1,825 cases have died.
